Text: This is the end of a chapter in the 1830 edition. Mormon’s conclusion exhorts his future audience to humble themselves before Yahweh—which his own people have not—but thereby escape his people’s fate. His last phrase, however, foresees his people’s revival so that they become a terror to the Gentiles, an allusion to 3 Nephi 21:12. (See accompanying commentary.)
