During His personal ministry at Bountiful, the Savior made clear the primordial source of the written word of truth: “And behold, all things are written by the Father; therefore out of the books which shall be written shall the world be judged” (3 Nephi 27:26). The Book of Mormon, as prepared and preserved by the hand of God through His earthly servants, is the basis upon which its readers will be judged. We are well counseled to give heed to its message.
