“Lamanites Sent an Epistle”

Joseph F. McConkie, Robert L. Millet

As the Lamanites began again to attack the Nephites and seek to take possession of their lands, Mormon’s armies rallied their forces and were able to repel the Lamanites and secure a significant military victory. Rather than recognizing the delivering hand of God and praising him for their victory, the Nephites, blinded by their wickedness, boasted in their own strength and gloried in their own works.
