“Sanctified in the Flesh”

Brant Gardner

Mormon learns, in response to his question, that the bodies of the Three Nephites have changed so that they cannot be considered mortal even though this change stops short of the perfected and resurrected bodies that will come after the final judgment. They are “sanctified in the flesh” not resurrected out of it. Still awaiting them is the final change of the body that rises in immortality and incorruption (1 Cor. 15:42; 2 Ne. 9).
