The gathering of Israel’s posterity will necessitate enlarging the family tent, lengthening the cords, and strengthening the stakes. The tent signifies refuge from storms. Stakes, the origin of our Church unit, must be strong to stabilize the whole tent, which is the Church and kingdom of God on earth. Compare Isaiah 33:20 and Doctrine and Covenants 82:14.
