The Restoration of the gospel, including the coming forth of the Book of Mormon—the “marvellous work and a wonder” spoken of by the prophets of old (see Isaiah 29:14; compare 3 Nephi 21:9)—will signal the commencement of the final gathering of Israel and the fulfillment of the covenant of the Father with His people.
