“That Ye May Know the Time When These Things Shall Be About to Take Place”

George Reynolds, Janne M. Sjodahl

The Lord, next, reveals the sign by which the observer may know that the gathering of the dispersed remnants is about to commence. He says that when the revelations now received and others still future, should come to the knowledge of the Gentiles, and through them to the remnant of Jacob, then they might know "that the work of the Father hath already commenced unto the fulfilling of the covenant with the people who are of the House of Israel." This is also to be a time of extraordinary commotion, both political and religious.
