“Ye Are the Children of the Prophets; Ye Are the Children of the Covenant”

Ed J. Pinegar, Richard J. Allen

We are the children of Abraham. We have made a covenant that through us all the world will be blessed. We are to take the gospel of Jesus Christ to every nation, kindred, tongue, and people. We are disciples of Christ, His messengers and His missionaries. Let us make a plan to share the gospel with a friend.

Through our participation in the Abrahamic covenant (see Abraham 2:8–11), if we are true and faithful, we receive the blessings of the restored gospel, including the priesthood powers and ordinances that lead to exaltation and the sealing of families for time and all eternity. The Lord will remember His covenant with the fathers that their land of inheritance will be theirs again. Through the seed of Abraham (see Galatians 3:29; D&C 84:34), the whole world will be blessed (see D&C 110:11–12; 124:58).
