“Leaders”

Ed J. Pinegar, Richard J. Allen

The contributions of stalwart men such as Lachoneus and his compatriots are recognized and honored. Had it not been for their bold leadership and unremitting advocacy for the cause of liberty and righteousness, the people would have been destroyed by the Gadianton robbers. Now the people can rejoice over the restoration of peace and prosperity—at least for a few years. We can be grateful for valiant leaders who keep the torch of righteousness lit and the ensign of salvation hoisted aloft to inspire us in the pursuit of happiness and unity.
