“It Became the Desire of the People of Zemnarihah to Withdraw from Their Design”

George Reynolds, Janne M. Sjodahl

Because of the great losses his army had sustained in support of the siege he ordered, and also their increasing want of food to support their needs, Zemnarihah, seeing the futility of any further attempts to encroach upon the Nephite stronghold, finally and in desperation, gave in to the wishes of his followers, and commanded them to flee to the north and there concentrate in one region far away from their present disastrous undertaking.
