What a sensational revelation from the Lord this turned out to be for Nephi. He had been promised that on the morrow the Savior would come into the earth to fulfill his great destiny and to Nephi's great relief, the Savior said that this night the sign would be given. This meant two things. First of all that night there would be no darkness and this very day Nephi had been praying was the first day of the day and the night without darkness Samuel had been promising.
