A God was coming to earth and all things must be in readiness. The signs of his coming began to be shown forth, just as Samuel and other prophets had predicted.
Jesus was and is the greatest of all the prophets, the prophets’ Prophet, the hope and desire of the age, and his coming needed to be signaled by greater signs and greater wonders than any other event in history.
