“Second Death”

The consequence of failing to repent is the second death, a spiritual death—being cast out of the presence of God and separated from the things of the Spirit essential for enduring to the end in righteousness.

“Because It Was Hard Against You”

We are sometimes disposed to anger as a result of our own weaknesses. When things are said that indicate our unrighteousness, we sometimes find fault with the messenger. Let us beware, lest we separate ourselves from the Lord’s anointed servants, thus separating ourselves from God.
