The Lord gives unto Samuel the Lamanite prophet the words to speak. Samuel warns the Nephites that because of the hardness of their hearts the Lord will withdraw His Spirit if they did not repent. He then prophesies that the Lord will ultimately visit them with utter destruction. All blessings are predicated upon obedience. The doctrine that has been most taught and continually preached since the beginning of time is repentance. It is still true today. The prophets teach us that we must all repent.
