“Grace for Grace”

Joseph F. McConkie, Robert L. Millet
With divine assistance people are in a position to receive additional attributes and powers of the Spirit through repentance and subsequent faithfulness: they may receive what the scriptures speak of as ’grace for grace.’... To receive ’grace for grace’ is to receive of the Father as we give to others. In this, as in all other enterprises in this life, Jesus Christ is our exemplar and our pattern. (Robert L. Millet, By Grace Are We Saved, p. 39; see also D&C 93:12-20.)
