“O How Great Is the Nothingness of the Children of Men”

D. Kelly Ogden, Andrew C. Skinner

“How great is the nothingness of the children of men.” King Benjamin taught that also (see commentary on “our own nothingness” as contrasted to “the worth of souls is great” at Mosiah 4:5, 11); so did Isaiah (Isaiah 40:15, 17). And Moses had poignant, personal experience with the “nothingness” of men (Moses 1:8, 10).
