Those who have an eye single to the glory of God seek, like their Master, to do only those things which please the Father (see John 8:29). They strive to know the will of God and then proceed to do it. They have no secret or private agenda, no desire to “do their own thing,” no yearning for personal applause or self-aggrandizement.
