The result of this incident is that some people believe Nephi’s prophecy; but painfully, despite the dramatic and public way he identified Seezoram’s murder and murderer, some still did not believe him. Their psychological and spiritual resistance is important as events continue to unfold between this point and the Messiah’s arrival.
