Nephi prophesied the murder of the chief judge and exposed the judge’s brother as the murderer, thereby convincing some Nephites of his role as a true prophet. Every valiant elder or representative of the Lord Jesus Christ may declare as Nephi: “I am an honest man, and … I am sent unto you from God.”
