“Order of God… After the Order of His Son”
Book of Mormon prophets referred to that which we call the Melchizedek Priesthood as the “holy order,” the “order of God,” or the “order of his Son.” From modern revelation we know that in ancient times the priesthood was called the Holy Priesthood, after the Order of the Son of God (see D&C 107:3).
