“Deny My Words”

Joseph F. McConkie, Robert L. Millet

To deny the words of modern prophets is, at the same time, to deny the words of the ancient prophets. To reject the spirit of revelation in one age is to reject it in all ages. So it is with all the fruits of the gospel—to deny their power and effect among the ancients is to deny their power in our day. If an acorn brought forth the mighty oak in ancient days, it can do no less in our day. If the seed of faith opened the heavens and brought forth miracles among the Saints of former days, it must of necessity produce the same effects today.
