Validity draws the fire. Jacob’s older sons mocked the dreams of their younger brother Joseph, saying they were foolishness; yet they could not rest until they had sold him into bondage. Joseph Smith was a youth of no social standing and no hint of eminence; yet men of high standing excited the public mind against him. Why the opposition against that which has been declared foolish?
