Following the prophetic pattern Nephi places a seal upon the testimony of his words, declaring revelation as their source and that what he has spoken is true. This is the pattern that should always be followed in declaring repentance or in teaching the gospel; that is, we are first to declare the message and then seal the testimony of the message with the testimony, of its verity as revelation and as truth.
