In Helaman 5:34 we are told the Lamanites could not move for fear. Now here in verse 37 power is given unto them to turn. When in our own lives we seem similarly unable to make the changes we know we ought to make, where can we find the strength to turn? Notice in verse 41 what the Lamanites had to do to be delivered from their “cloud of darkness.” What are we taught there about how faith is obtained? How might you apply this experience to your own challenges? Is there someone you care about who could also benefit from these truths?
