“The Cloud of Darkness is Dispersed”

The Nephite dissenter who saw through the cloud of darkness was undoubtedly chosen by the Lord. The Lord certainly knew Aminadab would respond as he did and used him to convert the others (vv. 35–37). We do not know what caused Aminadab to dissent, but he was knowledgeable of spiritual things, as shown by the answers to the questions of the multitude of Lamanites who were captive to the cloud of darkness (vv. 38–41). Aminadab knew of the teaching of Alma, Amulek, and Zeezrom (v. 41).
