The delivery technique in Mesoamerica could easily have been the same. The timber would not have been inside ships, but attached to large canoes and moved, either by the current or by the canoes’ paddlers. Though an intriguing possibility, is currently an unattested possibility. There are no rivers that would allow the transport of logs from the Maya area all the way to the Central Basin of Mexico.
