It is interesting that the leader of the murder cult whose name was Gadianton did not go out to murder Helaman himself but he sent Kishkumen, the very man who had murdered the two previous chief judges.
Once the Gadianton band had been exposed, Helaman knew what must be do to cleanse the land of these desperate characters. But the Gadiantons escaped.
