And now we come to the grand finale of all of these great conflicts which we have covered from chapters 43 to 62 in the book of Alma. In chapter 62 we find Moroni amazed to learn that the central government has been overthrown but his feelings toward Pahoran melted into a chalice of compassion and love as he contemplated what the chief judge had been compelled to endure. Moroni responded immediately to the suggestions of Pahoran. Here were two great spirits now completely united in the task that lay before them.
