“I Moroni, Am Constrained, According to the Covenant Which I Have Made”

Ed J. Pinegar, Richard J. Allen

We understand better the motivation of Moroni in sending his bold and condemnatory epistle when we consider that he had been prompted by the Lord to act on principles of righteousness for the preservation of the liberties of the people. Moroni is an exponent of covenant valor. He acts on behalf of covenants made. He keeps his promises, just as the Lord keeps His promises. That is the essence of covenant making and covenant observance. From this example we can take a powerful lesson for our lives.
