Writing this letter has unleashed Moroni’s wrath; at this point, he is so furious that he openly accuses Pahoran of treason by succumbing to the king-men culture of power. The king-men were traitors and Moroni had received authority to execute them. He still has a thread of caution, however, and halts momentarily on the brink of issuing a death threat against Pahoran.
