What is meant by neglect?

Thomas R. Valletta

Because Moroni uses this word several times in his letter to Pahoran, it is good to know that it means to be “heedless; careless; inattentive; accustomed or apt to omit what may or ought to be done” (Webster, American Dictionary). Even though Moroni wasn’t entirely aware of Pahoran’s situation, the caution against being neglectful can still apply today. What are some necessities, either spiritual or temporal, that sometimes are neglected? What can help you avoid being careless or inattentive toward these things?
