“Them Who Have Been Slain Have Entered into the Rest of Their God”

Brant Gardner

Helaman, though sad about those who died, rejoices in the preservation of his men. Helaman finds consolation in knowing that the dead fought valiantly and have “entered into the rest of their God.”

Text: Helaman’s letter continues into our next chapter. There is no break in the 1830 edition because Mormon conceptualized this chapter to include the entire epistle.
