Now Antipus had the same problem at the city of Judea that Moroni had at the city of Mulek. Neither of them could induce the Lamanites to come out and fight and these cities were too well fortified to invade them. Antipus was also deeply anxious that they intercept any Lamanite armies seeking to capture more cities on the western front. They therefore kept spies scattered throughout the land so they would aware of any Lamanite excursion to capture other cities.
