Mormon ends his paen to Moroni. It is interesting that Mormon should focus so particularly on Moroni, but then place him on equal footing with Ammon and the other sons of Mosiah, as well as Alma (the Younger) and his sons. Perhaps the difference is that Moroni is a righteous man, and also a military man. Mormon would have particular feelings for such a man, given his own military responsibilities, and his own desires to serve the Lord.
