The fallen man seeks to do his own will, the redeemed man the will of the Father. The carnal man seeks to satiate the flesh, the spiritual man to receive and abide by the things of the Spirit. Being dead as to divine experience, the sensual and devilish man knows and revels only in that which is temporary and fleeting, while the new creature in Christ seeks to gain the mind of Christ and to do always those things which bring the approbation of heaven.
