Alma explains the interesting contrast between an unalterable God and a changeable human nature. God is the same, but we move between good and evil. The imagery of movement is emphasized in “the way” and “whosoever will may walk.… ” God does not “move,” we do—but it is God who made the way upon which we may walk (or move) toward him, and toward good.
