“I Unfold Unto You a Mystery”

Joseph F. McConkie, Robert L. Millet
To the world and to the worldly the resurrection is a mystery. In fact even to those of the household of faith it is incomprehensible and inexplicable. How is it that a dead body can return to life, join with the immortal spirit, and acquire godlike glory and power in the process? It is beyond mortal mind to fathom such a thing. But the Spirit whispers and experience waches that such is true and real. In response to Zeezrom’s question about the resurrection, Alma said: “It is given unto many to know the mysteries of God” (Alma 12:8-9; compare 1 Corinthians 15:51).
