Think of the associations you have had with others in your lifetime. “As in the time of Alma, the bad conduct of a few members slows the work” (Maxwell, “Net Gathers of Every Kind,” 66). On the other hand, the power of good examples often leads people to investigate the Church. “Whenever you step over the line in an immoral act or in doing any other evil thing, the Church is that much weaker. … When you stand true and faithful, it is that much stronger. Each one of you counts” (Hinckley, “Stand True and Faithful,” 94).
