Alma pronounces his final blessing: that Shiblon will be blessed throughout his life and be received at death into Yahweh’s kingdom “to sit down in peace.” It is a wonderful blessing for a faithful son.
Text: This is the end of the chapter in the 1830 edition. As with the previous chapter, Mormon makes a chapter break because Alma, though still the speaker, will address a different son. The separateness of the instructions or blessings is retained by making separate chapters.
