The Liahona directed the early immigrants to the promised land and gave them daily instructions from the Lord. It worked according to their faith and in keeping with the diligence and the obedience they gave unto it. The words of Christ constitute our Liahona for eternal life. If we are faithful, diligent, and receptive, the words of Christ will lead us to a more glorious promised land beyond this mortal sphere. Let us daily feast on and live by, the words of God. Let us liken them unto our lives so that we will indeed become even as He is (see 1 Nephi 19:23; 2 Nephi 32:3; 3 Nephi 27:27; D&C 84:43–46).
