“I know that he will raise me up at the last day.” Alma knew that he was sealed up to eternal life, having his calling and election made sure, and guaranteed exaltation, as were his father (Mosiah 26:20); Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob (D&C 132:37); the brother of Jared (Ether 3:13); Lehi (2 Nephi 1:15); Jacob (2 Nephi 2:3); Enos (Enos 1:27); the sons of Mosiah—Ammon, Aaron, Omner, and Himni (Mosiah 28:7); the Nephite Twelve (3 Nephi 28:1–3); Mormon (Mormon 2:19); Moroni (Ether 12:37); Peter, James, and John (2 Peter 1:19); Paul (2 Timothy 4:8); and Joseph Smith (D&C 132:49).
