Alma looks back on a life of deliverance from adversity of every kind—the burden of sin, the confinement of prison, the disabling grip of shackles, even death—yet he was supported in all of this by the blessings of a loving God. We must trust in the Lord. He is always there to support and sustain us in our trials.
