“Born of God”

Ed J. Pinegar, Richard J. Allen

When we have a vision of being in the presence of the God, cleansed from sin and worthy of heavenly glory, then we are literally propelled forward along the pathway of righteousness and service. When we are born again, our governing thought is to help others experience the joys of repentance and receive the refulgent light of the gospel. Like Enos (see Enos 1:5–8), Alma has been freed of guilt through faith in the Lord. Joy and light had filled his soul and planted there an overwhelming desire to help others taste of this joy. When we are truly and deeply converted to Christ, we become true disciples. We seek to bless others that they might partake of the living waters and feel the uplifting joy of redemption.
