“The Spirit of the Lord Hath Withdrawn from You”

D. Kelly Ogden, Andrew C. Skinner

We are choosing, by our daily behavior, whether our sins will be blotted out (Isaiah 43:25; Acts 3:19) or our names will be blotted out (Mosiah 26:36; Moroni 6:7; D&C 20:83). We will either remain an enemy to God, a natural man (Mosiah 3:19), or we will become a friend of God, as Abraham did (Isaiah 41:8; James 2:23). In the end, either God will “seal [us] his” (Mosiah 5:15), or the devil will “seal [us] his” (Alma 34:35) and have all power over us. It is our choice.
