The penalties imposed upon the wicked by the laws of heaven are terrible and real. This is why Jesus pleads with the Father's children of every dispensation to take advantage of the Savior's magnificent gift of mercy through repentance. Otherwise they will have to pay the excruciating penalty for their own sins.
