“Ye Must Pour Out Your Souls in Your Closets and Your Secret Places”

Joseph F. McConkie, Robert L. Millet

It is not enough to pray for our families or our crops or our business. It is not enough to pray for power over Lucifer. We must also plead with the Lord in silent and secret prayer in behalf of our own souls, that the cleansing powers of the Spirit may make of us new creatures, new creatures in Christ. We must pray for the gifts and guidance of the Spirit, for the inspiration of heaven to accompany us in our daily walk and talk.
