Amulek confirmed what Alma had assumed—the Zoramites were taught these things before their apostasy (vv. 1–2). However, these things must have been lost from their memories. How quick we tend to forget? Alma had given them the experiment but they needed to do the work (vv. 3–4). The great question was whether there is a Christ? The proof of Alma’s words were verified in the mouths of three prophets: Zenos, Zenock, and Moses, which was the requirement of witnesses under the law of Moses (see Deuteronomy 19:15; Matthew 18:16).
