Alma chooses Zenos’s jewel of scriptural wisdom because it gently and authoritatively refutes the conviction of the Zoramites that they have been foreclosed of any venue in which to worship. They can worship anywhere and everywhere, because of the mercy and love of the Father and the Son. Similarly, we can pray in all places for all things, and Heavenly Father will hear our cries and grant to us that which is requisite for us.
