will increase in the exact proportion as the diligence you show in caring for the seed, or obeying the word's holy promptings. Not at first, but gradually; not to begin with, but by steps or degrees, faith will be added upon faith, precept upon precept, until a mere belief becomes knowledge, and you begin to say that the seed is good; "for behold it swelleth and sprouteth, and beginneth to grow." Any seed that fails to grow in soil that is prepared for it, is not good. But if it is good it brings forth, like unto itself, that which is also good.
