“It Beginneth to Enlarge My Soul”
Alma repeatedly emphasizes that obtaining spiritual maturity is a process. That which is of God enlarges the soul, while that which is of the adversary quietly “cheateth” souls “and leadeth them away carefully down to hell” (2 Nephi 28:21).
